Chris has been with the company since it’s inception in April 2004. Prior to that he was employed in the finance department of a large printing firm in Newcastle, which was his first job after graduating from Napier University in 2002 with a degree in Accounting.
Chris continued his professional development after he left University by becoming an ACCA affiliate. He passed his finals in February 2006 and was awarded membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Since joining CI Accountancy Limited, Chris has gained experience of a wide range of clients both at local level and also internationally. He has developed a breadth of knowledge due to the variety of clients we service and, has welcomed the challenges presented by clients in sectors he has not previously dealt with.
Chris’s greatest strength is his positive attitude towards his clients. He believes it is essential to give clients the best possible service and is keen to develop the reputation of the firm as one which does not follow the traditional rigid service provided by other accountancy firms. He strongly believes that we are service providers, not just year end compliance facilitators and, therefore makes a constant effort to maintain and develop good communications, keeping the clients best interests at the fore of his service delivery throughout the entire year.
Chris who is originally from Kelso in the Scottish Borders has made his home in Bellingham with his wife and young daughter. While not as young as he used to be, he is a keen sprinter and trains with the Hexham Harriers on a regular basis. |
